I've tried other vegan dog foods, I especially like how Petaluma is made & the organic ingredients. I have a 2 year old and 14 year old. I also am impressed with how the company is environmentally conscious. I'm still integrating their other food with the new but all is good & they gobble it up! My 3 rescue dachshund mixes love this kibble even as a treat!
I purchased one of each formula as 2 of my pups are young, 7months & 3yrs, & 1 is a senior, 11yrs, because my two young ones are allergic to most meat.
My only issue, that one of my extremely picky pups noticed as well, is that the roasted pb & sweet potato kibble is now larger & he began spitting it out! Luckily, he loved it again after I began soaking it.

What you’re doing by soaking the food is absolutely perfect, especially for smaller or picky eaters. Our baking process makes smaller pieces a bit challenging to produce, but we’d love to offer a smaller size in the future if possible. In the meantime, soaking with warm water (even for longer periods like 30 minutes) can help soften and crumble the food into smaller bite sizes, just like you’ve been doing!

This is the only organic vegan kibble I have been able to find online in the US. It actually smells good (and tastes good too - yes, i try all her food). Their customer service is super responsive. I can't recommend this food and company enough. She gets half kibble and half homemade and is quite content.
