Caroline Buck & Garrett Wymore
Co-Founders
Garrett and Caroline are parents to two rescue pups, Oscar & Leo, and passionate advocates for more sustainable and compassionate food. Garrett previously worked in the pet health and nutrition industry leading cutting-edge projects for the world’s largest pet care company. They started Petaluma to make it easier for fellow pet lovers to provide the best care for both their pets and the planet.

Dr. Blake Hawley, DVM
Lead Veterinary Nutritionist
Dr. Hawley is a veterinarian who has spent over 25 years developing scientific diets and pharmaceutical delivery products for dogs and cats. He received his doctorate in veterinary medicine from NC State University and has developed deep nutritional expertise while designing hundreds of unique canine diets.

Dr. Deena Krestel-Rickert. Ph.D
Product Development Advisor
Dr. Krestel-Rickert has spent over 35 years developing, manufacturing, and validating pet nutrition products - including complete diets, supplements, and treats. She earned a Ph.D. from Purdue University and has worked in R&D departments at some of the world's largest pet nutrition companies as well as innovative startups creating new approaches to nutritional and agricultural problems.
